You shouldn’t have to wait for a school report to know how your child is getting on with French, Spanish or German. Phoque tells you plainly, and tells you what would help.

How it learns your child
A picture that sharpens with use
Phoque tracks how your child responds to hints, where they struggle, the effort they put in and how confident they are. A placement check finds the right starting point, and when your child is stuck, hints and help step up.
This is not a fixed learning-style label. It changes as your child does, and we don’t claim that matching a style improves results.

Chat and answers checked
Chat, lesson answers and exam practice are checked before anything reaches the AI, and so is every AI reply. If something your child writes suggests they are struggling, Phoque points them to Childline or Samaritans in words written in advance — never the AI’s own.
Fixed words in a crisis
If a message in chat suggests your child is in crisis, the reply is fixed text we wrote, with UK helplines such as Childline and Samaritans. It is never generated. Concerns are logged for our team to review; nothing is sent to anyone automatically.

A child cannot start without a parent’s consent.
Straight about marking
Marking is automatic. Answers it is unsure about are marked as needing review rather than given a score.
